Does anyone have any info about returning used items on ebay plus?

If you're returning an item because you changed your mind, you must return it in the same condition as you received it. You must also include, in the same condition as it was received:
All packaging such as boxes, bags and tags
Accessories such as cords and remotes
Certificates, manuals and warranty cards
"Free gifts" or bonus items
All items included in a bundle
But then under seller protections https://www.ebay.com.au/help/policies/selling-policies/selle… we see
An item is returned after it was used or damaged by the buyer
You can deduct up to 50% from the refund to recover the lost value of the item.
We'll take care of any issues associated with the item being returned by working directly with the buyer and by removing any negative and neutral Feedback, defects and open cases in service metrics.
So am I correct in assuming Ebay Plus free returns is only for unopened items?
The seller isn't legally required to a accept change of mind return. Always ask them before buying if they do accept a return and about the process of returning the item.
