I’m wondering if anybody who has access to TGG commercial could tell me what price they have listed for a JBL Bar 5.1ch 550W Soundbar. I’m waiting on access myself but it seems to be a slow process. The regular good guys store have told me $720 but I’m wondering whether the price difference is worth waiting for commercial access. Thanks!

Depending on where you are (meaning if you're not in lockdown in Victoria!), you can ask a friend or someone who already has access to do a click and collect for you. Update the name in the order details so that you can go and collect it.
That would be great but unfortunately I don’t know of anyone who currently has access. I only found out about it off here recently, someone posted about a site which offers access for people who work for a NFP organization. Unfortunately they’ve been inundated since with people who don’t actually work for NFP’s, so the wait to get verified is slow.
Last year, it took them about 5-10 days to get back to me with login details after registering. It wasn't an instant thing.
Also, their prices are not necessarily the best, so when you eventually get access, be sure to still check other places for the lowest prices before ordering.
@bobbified: Argh okay. I’ll have to try and be patient. Everywhere else has it advertised for $795. New TV is arriving next week (now wishing I’d maybe waited and checked prices for those too, but too late!) so ideally I’d like the soundbar then too to install. Ah well!
@Ag1411: Just to add to this, I signed up for TGG Commercial through the SunSuper promotion on 21/8 and I got an email with my TGGC account login on 31/8, others who applied around the same time said they received it around 8-10 days after as well so hopefully it's not too backlogged and you get approved soon!
It took absolutely ages for me to get access, but in the meantime, I could see from a union advertisement a good price for a product I wanted to buy, and took this price to them. I said if the store couldn't match that price, I'd just ring up and order it through the Unionshopper deal. They price matched even though I hadn't had my Good Guys Commercial membership confirmed yet.
I guess it’s worth a try, but I don’t have any proof as such of the price. Though they would surely know what the commercial pricing is anyway.
Hi, I’m currently in-store at the Good Guys, as I thought I’d try my luck at their price matching while I’m waiting on my commercial access log in (which seems to be taking an age!). @Melb69: Seems like the OP managed to get the price match, on the other hand when I tried to get the price match it was rejected.
I tried to do it for a washer and dryer but got told straight up they don't price match commercial and that I should just buy it from them.
@iampoor: Suppose it only works depending on who you get as the sales person or which store you go into.

Hi. I signed up through SunSuper yesterday. That took five minutes. Then GG Commercial link about 30 minutes. Soundbar? Look at the Yamaha for 220 dollars and buy a used woofer.
I just bought myself the same JBL soundbar, saved $300 using the Commercial pricing. Nice! Helps pay for my union membership with that discount. It had gone up slightly to $497, but that's okay.
