Single Airpod Replacement

Hi All,

Knew this was going to happen eventually and managed to lose just the Right Airpod.

From a quick google search it seems I can get a single replacement from Apple for circa $99. (note just the normal Airpod Gen 2 not wirless charging case - don't think that makes a difference)

I'm in Melb so COVID restrictions is prohibiting me from going to the Apple shop.

Does anyone have other suggestions where I can get a new genuine one from or other suggestions to get a replacement?

      Yes I have as indicated in the OP.

      I was seeing if anyone had experience with third party retailer for example which sells single airpods at a better price

    This happened to me (I eventually found the missing on though), basically your options are:

    • Buy a new single from from apple for $99
    • Buy a new pair from Apple
    • Plenty of single ones for sale on marketplace where someone has lost one. Personally this is gross and I wouldn't do it but it will certainly be cheaper than $99

      Thanks mate, agree with all the above.

      I will just go with a new single for $99 for time being.
