    Great mounts!

    I used one with an iPad travelling Australia, never fell off while four wheel driving.

    Now that I don’t use the iPad I changed the mount end to a universal mount to hold my iPhone. No issues.

    Price is ok, nothing amazing (looking at RAM-B-149Z-UN10U

    If you are considering this product:

    For similar money I'd go for the Quad Lock ($108 after their perpetual 10% discount). That includes a protective case for your device. If you aren't in a hurry they do 30% off roughly once a year.

    I've got RAM on one motorbike and Quad lock on another, Quad Lock all day.

    I paid extra and got the wireless charging function, if you can spring for it it is magic.

      I have the quad lock usb charger for my bike but seems to occasionally drop to slow charge when riding but i then reinsert the charge cable n back to full charge. I have replaced the charge unit and cable but no improvement

      While Quadlock is a superior mounting method they don't sell ball joint arms for some reason - they only sell an adaptor one.

      Quad lock on my bike too. Definitely better for off-road. I should have got the wireless charge.

      I really like the quad-lock and want to by one, but there are issues with high end phones and the solidness design of quad-lock where vibrations are destroying the sensitive image stabilising in these phones when used on motorbikes - on or off road - which has put me off them.

      I do have a Ram X-Grip, bit clunky, but works very well.

    Great mounts and I have one in each car. Not the cheapest but they hardly ever dislodge themselves.
