I can't seem to add photos here but does anyone else have 5 or more unused connectors in their engine bay?
Two of them have covers on
Unused Connectors in 2004 Iveco Daily

Thanks mate. That's makes alot more sense now. I was a little but worried someone had been messing in the engine bay and forgot to plug something back in
As above. Different markets, different options, different vehicle configurations, future features… etc. there is any number of reasons these plugs exist, but unless you are having some sort of issue with the vehicle, I would ignore the extra plugs.
As for files, you can just click on “My Account” then “Posts”, then on that page in the dark gray bar it says “Files”, and then “Upload new file”. Once uploaded, click on the image to open it, copy and paste the link to your post.
Alternative is, go to imgur.com (or another image hosting site.) upload the photos there, copy the link and paste that into your post.
In the olden days when I fitted ACs to Toyotas all the connectors were there. It was very much plug'n'play. SV21 Camry could be done in 45 minutes including the crutch cooler.
On my Skoda I activated the tyre pressure monitoring system with my laptop and some software.
If you can get a wiring diagram you can probably work out what the connectors are for.
Lots of cars have the features ready to go, all part of the 'value add' for the higher models.
I remember years ago the 307 peugeot you could 'enable' cruise control just be plugging/installing the cruise control stalk in! It was way cheaper to buy the part after purchase than to get the dealer to do as part of purchasing :)
CC stalk is a pretty common one. Always worth investigating.
I heard about that, I was going to give it a go. Apparently the you can do the same in the daily
I usually try to find a vehicle specific forum. They are usually a wealth of knowledge.
Not surprising to find additional connectors in a vehicle. It is cheaper to have one factory wiring loom that allows for all accessories than it is to create specific looms for each model.
For example in my vehicle in some models there is a temp display. All I had to do to access it was buy the correct sensor and plug it in then disconnect the battery to register it. 5min job. Nissan wanted like $200 for the part but I got one for $25. All the wiring and display was already there ready to go but the Nissan decided my model didn’t need it or they could charge more for it.
If you can find a wiring diagram for your vehicle you might find out what they are for.
