I had ordered and installed roller blinds from Spotlight .
- Check measure - I took day off and waited for this person to turn up as scheduled . Received call by end of the day that no one coming to perform check measure
Rescheduled and had to take another day off. Spotlight wasted my time.
- Product - delay as the ordered colour and product not available, Spotlight offered alternative colour. I refused and had to wait another three weeks. After 40 percent discount I paid $2000 for the products .
Post installation of products by Spotlight, I used the same measurement and checked with other suppliers like B*****gs and local blinds suppliers. They had better quality product for 20 percent less price plus installation extra .
- Didn’t Stick to scheduled appointment
Again they failed to attend installation as scheduled. Had to reschedule, installer didn’t turn up citing technical issues with his van
4 Blinds stitch quality poor
Product stitching is poor. Reported in day 1. Blinds doesn’t have plastic base rails Instead wooden insert. Salesperson never explained to me that this blinds does not have base rails, unfortunately I wasn’t aware that blinds can be without base rails.
5.Poor installation: Installer damaged walls and during removal of old curtains and installation of blinds. They patched the plaster board but not painted .
- Very Poor customer service :
Haven’t attended to poor stitches yet. Awaiting reply. Product is still under warranty.
Had to wait ages to talk to customer service and their answers are unsatisfactory
My experience is Spotlight does not have any considerations for customers and customer care.
I would not recommend Spotlight to my family and friends.
Please share your experience.
Then why didn't you go with the better product at a cheaper price?
How so?
Sounds fair, they patched the holes from your old curtains etc. No one ever paints, you expect them to carry every colour in the van and be able to match your wall?
But you said the sales person was excellent?
