With its recent validity extension, I've got 2 years' worth of AmEx travel credit on my card now. I don't foresee me travelling again before their expiry in March 2021 and was wondering if there was anything I could use the credit on other than flights and hotels.

experiences have been entirely disabled without any indication of when they'll return
thought the travel cred is only if you use it on qantas flights.
For the Platinum Edge, you can use the travel credit in the AmEx travel website to get flights/ hotels, etc.

We are extending your American Express Travel Credit
For Travel Credits expiring between 1 October 2020 and 31 December 2020 that have not been redeemed, we will be extending the expiry date to 31 March 2021. Remember, you can book for travel up to 10 months in advance. There is no need for you to call or take any action, the extended expiry date will be automatically reflected in your online account within 8 weeks of the current expiry date of your Travel Credit. All other terms and conditions for your annual Travel Credit remain the same.

Does anyone know if you can use it on car hire? I just tried then and it's not given as an option..
