Ah - looks like I hadn't used it!! All good…worked for me…

Marked as expired, so YMMV.
Wow.
Would this work with 3600 build? Please help
Yes, would be one of the better choices as it is running at 3600mhz which is ideal for ryzen CPUs as it matches the infinity fabric. Lower latency would be better of course but this is a pretty good price for what it is.
thank you!
Amazon has the 3600 for 270ish which is decent
plus this and the cheap b450 board - and now need to find a good deal for the GPU and a nice mini case :)
How about a 2600? Currently have a 3000mhz vengeance lpx
@kehuehue: 3600MHz RAM won't be able to run at full speed 95% of the time on Zen+. You're pretty much capped at 3466MHz unless you're really lucky.
I ordered these recently along with the 3600 ~$250 and Asrock B450M Steel Legend ~$150. The RAM runs at 3600Mhz 1.35v via XMP. I think it was 2300Mhz stock from memory. AIDA64 says it's Samsung.
I'm a noob with some PC parts. Will this work in my PC as I have a Ryzen 2700X and it seems to only support up to 2400mhz (or is that my motherboard limit)
I believe that'd be your motherboard limit, but hopefully someone can confirm?
Either way, these will work, the limit just means that they'd be limited to running at 2400mhz. An argument could be made about buying 2400mhz sticks because of price reasons (and potentially things to do with timings, but I don't know much about that), but to answer your question: Yes, these would work. Optimally? I'm not sure. But they should run.Thanks. Yeah just seemed the cheapest 16gb kit I could find
probably my returned sticks :) Don't get if you have Ryzen system I couldn't get any xmp setting to work :( good price and probably good ram for Intel systems though
What processor were you using? I've also heard that it's quite difficult to get a stable 3600mhz for ryzen systems. Would the C16 3200 be a better option?
Ryzen 5 2600,, look at reviews of any Ram first see what others say a pity even in 2020 have to look into what you buy to see if it works as advertised
It's not a problem with the RAM. Your CPU's memory controller is too weak at that speed. Try overclocking/increasing the IMC voltage if your motherboard supports OC. Do it at your own risk though
For those in know, are RAM prices likely to continue going down or is this just temporary? I would've thought prices would go up given the current climate.
Apparently an over resupply so it probably won't be going up anytime soon.
Good to know - thank you. Hope other components follow suit.
What Freq/timings should I target if I plan on getting a Zen 3 CPU?
Ideal:
3600mhz is ideal, cl14 or as close as you can get.Good enough
3200mhz cl16 or 3600mhz cl18That's for Zen 2 isn't it? Not Zen 3?
I'm not sure we know what's optimal for Zen3 yet. I'll be testing a Renoir 4650G (Zen2 core with new Zen3 infinity fabric) with 3600 C16 Trident Neo in the next couple of weeks starting with this config.

@TheLurker: Where did you get a 4650g? I can't find them for sale
@greatlamp: EBay, but if you're looking and it's sold out, I'd go for Europe as all the sellers I found were there. Saw one for EUR246 last night. Search on 'Ryzen Pro tray' or the AMD part number to get more hits
@greatlamp: I reckon this is good value. Closer to 3800x in speed. Ryzen Pro 4750g
The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase???
I am a prime member.
The code above is only for new app purchases and is targeted.
Probably should be mentioned in the OP
US deal was $94.95 yesterday :(
Anyone know how to overclock the ram on msi mobo? I bought this a month ago and it is only running at ~2200mhz.
Enable a-xmp
DRAM frequency - 3600
FCLK frequency - 1800Gotta do it through your bios and select XMP
I already got these sticks on a gigabyte B450M DS3H with a ryzen 3600 and a galax 2060 super.
They run stable at 3600 which is great since they're not on the B450M DS3H's list of officially supported RAM at that speed. My question is, would I benefit much from getting another pair? My PC is purely for gaming, not productivity or video editing.
For gaming basically no performance increase from 16 to 32gb unless the game requires that amount but can’t think of any that do
That was my suspicion, thanks!
not that I play it but apparently the new Flight Sim takes advatage of it.
data/database intensive games like Football Manager etc, it's an advantage.
These sticks have quite a high failure rate from the Amazon reviews. Mine failed as well within 1 year. RMA process is good around a week or so, but still a pain.
Did anyone have a screenshot of this in the cart? If you could kindly PM, with thanks
Cheers. Add code apponly10 for 10% off via the app also and free shipping makes this $89….
