Looking for over-ear headphones for under $50. Doesn't have to be wireless or have any fancy ANC. Just looking for a genuinely good sounding pair of headphones. I know I won't get too much at this price point, but would also prefer some more well-known brands, not some cheapo no-name brand one if you know what I mean.
Looked at the TaoTronics, however, none are on special at the moment.

Bluetooth will last longer, the cable is always the fist point of failure on any headphones.
i'd be checking Ali/Bangood and the like.. you'll just have to wait about 1.5 months for delivery

I have a pair, they feel flimsy, but they sound perfect. I've had them for 4 years now and the unfortunately the cable seem's like it's failing now. Pretty decent considering the price and the fact that I've had even more expensive headphones fail sooner
From all reports (aka,
/r/headphones), the Koss KPH30i are some of the best sounding headphones for around that price. Disclaimer - I don't currently have a pair, but they are next on my list to buy!
