Going by previous deals, Lamy fountain pens are rarely seen below $30.
This one comes with a fine nib.

2 reviews claim, but all others are highly rated. It makes no sense.
This could potentially be Amazon's practice of commingled inventory:

Seems like it could be related to the use of commingled inventory. Explains why some people receive fake products, while others don't.

TEKNO beat me to it. :)
I was ready to buy until I saw those reviews. I'll go elsewhere and pay $10 more if I can be guaranteed it's legit.
They're international reviews though, which also include other sellers on the marketplace that aren't Amazon.
This Pen would make a great upgrade for John Wick
Funny
Amazon reviews are useless, you need to look at sellers ratings not product reviews. It's sold by Amazon so it's not fake
Not necessarily:

Do note this comment from an ex-Amazon staff member.
edit: TEKNO shared the same article.
i prefer the Pilot Metropolitan, i own both.
Both very popular options.
For anyone who prefers converters over ink cartridges, amazon converters have a shipping premium even with prime, so ebay might be the way to go for that.
I would reccomend a 'Western' nib (eg. Lamy & TWSBI, which is a Taiwanese brand) if your handwriting is a bit larger. If it tends to be a bit smaller go for a Japanese nib (eg. Pilot & Platinum).
Sold out already???
Reviews say it's fake
