There's so many cars and so many models of phone holders and budgets. You're much better off going to a Honda forum to see what everyone else is using and choose from there.
I found all the generic ones (my opinion) to be very ugly and doesn't fit in with the look of the interior. Then I found out through the forums that there was a company that made a custom one that is barely even noticeable (but for my vehicle). There may be someone that does one for your vehicle as well.
Just go to JB and get one of those ones that attaches to the air vent. They're like $20. We've got one, it works great.
My exp with air vent holder is not good . The rubber wears out and they scratch vents . Mine looks like someone used knives on em .
Ram mount is the go expensive but best I have found, Use one in Car, motorbike and jetski. Never any issues.

And i'm using this CD Slot phone holder https://www.syntricate.com.au/products/iottie-easy-one-touch…
Cygnett magnetic, attahced either to the a vent of glued. Looks great and super convinient.
I have used the ClicOn holders for easy 15 years, great holders not cheap but worth it. Vent and windscreen holders have never worked for me. Now with CarPlay not as important but still use them.
I got a $2 one from Kmart . Very mediocre , but hey it's $2.
What's wrong with the cup holder?
Illegal for one (in NSW at least)
Yu can chuck thin a cup holder, but then you can’t use it - at all. Must be a commercially available phone holder to enable you to touch the phone or otherwise use it while driving.
I have 3 of these across 3 cars. They work pretty well, just need to set them up properly (use the stabiliser, bend it so it is supported).
One has fallen off once, but I just stuck it back on and no problem since.
What phone, what budget, what vehicle, where do you want it installed, do you want charging, removable, local or online purchase?
Just some of the questions you could answer to help us provide a suitable answer. Otherwise, your piece of string is twice as long as half of it.
