  You'll need to use the 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter cable (which it comes with) for the mic to work on a PC.

  The PS3 requires a USB interface for chat which this model doesn't have so you can't use it as a mic. You can only use it as a headphone set to listen to game sounds on the PS3.
