on ebay you can pickup a 2nd hand for $150 if you are lucky, otherwise they normally go for $190 even for second hand

Would not buy second hand because i have read that the old owner can report the device as stolen and it can be bricked by amazon.
so if the new touch only had wikipedia and amazon access doesn't that make you feel they will phase out unlimited 3g for the keyboard version eventually?? or is it somehow locked in stone
Why do you want the touch 3g? do you realise the 3g on the touch only allows access to wikipedia and amazon store?
