I wish it was for a normal sd card, I know you can use adapter but I just want to have one solid sd card
u3 A2 rated; not reason not to just use an adaptor.
I have a few cards held in with hot glue (semi) permanently.
Use the adapter that comes with the micros card and it'll work with no problems in a slot that handles this capacity. Performance will be the same.
I hear that many cameras can't handle the 1tb capacity - should be fine on PC etc
What about a canon 5d mark 4?
Did you try Google?
nope
Yeah google says 128gb but I don't think so as my brother uses 256gb on his 5d mark 4 and it works fine, Just want to see if 1tb would work
@jayboi: It's literally impossible to support 128GB but not up to 2TB, you won't get the certification from SDA.
Samsung Note 10 plus and Note 20 plus can accomidate 1T microsd card
SDXC: 32GB to 2TB
If the device supports SDXC (anything 32GB or higher) it should support this, although most devices understate what they support.
Whats the promo for free shipping? I only see one promo on your link that says 'Free Shipping On A$300+ Orders'?
click that and search for the item, i ordered 2 and got free shipping
Sure, I think you should update the title to 'free delivery with $300+ spend' instead of 'free delivery with link'.
Thanks eecan - updated :)
@Headless: You don't have to click the link for free shipping on >$300 orders either. It's a standard Expansys policy. You can remove the OzCodes rubbish entirely.
Pricing error? Seems too good to be true haha
Thanks - Nice deal
Be gentle with these as they do break easy- Hate to break a 1 Tb card
You can also use a spring loaded slot to shoot these across the room never to be found again.
Just ordered 1, great price.
Tempted to put this into my mobile phone to get 1.5 TB of total storage space!
Gee wow.
Halvsies in perth?
Sure, I'll get the scissors
This is no time to scissor.
You know what they say… Never scissor with the runs.
Just skip straight to the strap on scene.
Oops wrong website.
Scissor me timbers.
Scary food for thought, this still costs more than a 1TB NVMe SSD (Kingston A2000)!
its about 20x smaller
Can you discretely plug that into a microSD card slot?
Longest Coupon Code I've ever seen.
There's no coupon needed. It's OzCodes spamming OzBargain.
Same price for the 512gb version. Might be a price error
Great price for a 1TB sd card. Waiting for a good deal on a 512GB sd card
I feel like this is a too good to be true thang.
Delivery fees from A$26.20 - OUCH!
SanDisk MicroSDXC Extreme UHS 4K: A$159.08
AU - DPEX/Toll (Tracking Avail) 3 - 4 Days: A$26.20
GST (10%): A$18.53
Total: A$203.81
Free shipping is only for orders over $300 - $26 for Toll shipping isn't unheard of.
Buy two, this price is incredibly good and will get you over the $300.
Risked it for the biscuit.
Geez and here I was waiting for 512gb under $100…
in my dream ("I can only record 28 hours of 8K video on my note 20 ultra")
It must be a pricing error as 512gb is the exact same price, but the price isn't too good to be true either, but if you pay with PayPal it should be fine
I just pulled the trigger & purchased 2 so I'd get free shipping. Makes it $174.99 each.
How does this compare to samsung sd card?
This is a lot more compact than an SD card from any maker, but can be used with an adapter—check your device's slot to see which you need.
Thanks. How about the performance, I have samsung sd card evo plus which works great.is it similar in performance or better?
oh man i could really use this for my switch…. but…. argh not sure i can bring myself to drop that amount on it even though i know its a good price!
buy two sell one
I am not sure what`s the point in 1TB SD. They can die pretty much any time from my experience, so instead of losing 64GB, you lose 1TB of data.
90% of people use them for the wrong type of storage like cold storage of family pictures.
What is the best cold storage? Ssd hdd or normal hdd?
from a cost per gb/tb perspective hdd for sure… if its proper cold storage then you're plugging it in… dumping the data on it and sticking it on a shelf or in a cupboard… relatively safe…
any storage can fail though, hdd's are a bit more resilient when they're "on the way out" though… if an ssd fails its pretty well gone, if you catch a hdd at the right time you can sometimes get stuff off before its completely screwed… it all varies though
Stone tablets, like the Egyptians used.
cloud storage
4k video? Cameras with dual slots? (Not normally micro but still) Or in phones / gaming devices where everything can be re-downloaded without being a terrible pain.
I've purchased a second freezer so won't need to use this SD card for cold storage.
For anything important I'm sure you have a backup. People use sd cards to access media on the go rather than as storage devices.
The fallacy here is that 90% of people won't spend the money to get 1TB of SD card when there's much cheaper alternatives and most people do know they don't have 1TB of data to store.
9% (that will buy) has everything from their entire music collections, cached movies/TV series, games, documents etc that can potentially take up more than 200GB of space.
The remaining 1% or less uses their tablet/phone like a PC (like I do with Samsung DEX) and use the capacity for everything from running Linux to doing a lot more with the device than what it is made for.
I've had the same issue, one minute they're working and then suddenly windows says you need to format (can still recover at this point) or it doesn't get recognised whatsoever. The thought of losing 32gb of data from the gopro scares me.. having 1tb of video (which would be countless hours of footage would be devastating to say the least.
I pay for 'cloud' storage and throw all my photos and videos on there ASAP when we get home. Depending who you use, there would be policies around the storage of the data (think regular backups, guarantees, etc.) that makes it fairly safe - far safer than an SD card.
Aww dammit. The price just changed back to $374 just when I was ready to put in the payment details.
Party's over folks.
It says $374.99 for me.. I think it's pricing error and will be picked up from the orders itself..?
yep, its gone up :(
got one - thank you
from HK
Whoah!
I've been "upgrading" the storage on my 2012/13 retina macbook pro with permanently mounted (and backed up!) microSD card as they become available / affordable. 128, 256, 512…I wasn't expecting to get to 1TB this soon.
Keen to see these drop under $100 one day.
im keen to see these in coles for 5 bucks. thats the sweet spot.
Given it is the same price as the 512gb I would say definitely a price error:
https://www.expansys.com.au/sandisk-microsdxc-extreme-uhs-4k…
Was this a price error? That is a fantastic price. Would be great to use as another storage area on my surfacebook 2
Price error. Not being honoured this time.
We receive a $15 off $150usd coupon valid until mid next year.
Whoaaa.. that's cheap….
Well done for the first post
I just got the cancelation emails
But reordered one as jb sell these for 899 lol
Cheaper from Amazon @$364:
https://www.amazon.com.au/Sandisk-Extreme-microSDXC-Lifetime…
Pricing error. Bought 2 but got email saying both cancelled. I was expected atleast one to have gone through. Should have Price matched with other retailers. Shucks
got email from them - price error - dishonor the deal - :(
Same here, to be expected but still a shame
Hard to wrap my head around a 1TB microSD, felt like it was only yesterday when I saw this announced at CES.
