Ecosa Sale 20% off Everything - Queen Mattress $879.20 @ Ecosa

30

Needed a new mattress and was deciding between various including the Koala which also has a promotion at the moment. Ended up grabbing the Ecosa one as it let change the level of firmness and is also slightly cheaper than the Koala.

Slept on it first time last night, so far so good. I think it will only last a couple of years but for the price it's pretty good.

It seems they have this sale going from time to time.

" I think it will only last a couple of years" Well it has a 15 year warranty

  • Foam beds are bad
These beds make you sweat at night in winter coz they trap the heat in.

I've had an ecosa for 2 years now
i havent experienced the heat but there is minimal sagging on one of the corners.. which i'm not too bothered about

Any other reason (especially ergonomic reasons) why foam beds are bed?

    • I was sweating using my old ikea mattress which I believe was latex. So far no heating problems with the ecosa during winter and using a thick duvet. Let's see how it goes during summer.

I agree memory foam beds do trap in heat (I use amerisleep), but overall, I’d still prefer them as a mattress. Getting a good set of breathable sheets/quilt is a good way to compensate though.

  • I have an Ecosa myself for 2 years now and couldn't be happier. If you use a mattress protector and a bamboo sheets, they're even better.

I have an Ecosa for nearly 2yrs now. I must admit that it may not be good for everyone because my back was sore in the first a couple of weeks. It did get better and my back problem went away after that.
However, the bottom line is that I don't really think it is much more comfy than my old firm spring mattress.

I tried the Koala mattress in the store and decided to purchase Ecosa instead for the same reason as OP said. Ecosa allows you to change the surface layer to get different firmness.
But I never actually change that as it is not easy to do.

I don't think it is terrible during summer either.I bought it in summer to take advantage of the "trial" period just in case I need to return it for the heat problem that others compalined online.

If you are looking to buy one, I wouldn't set too much expectation of all those similar one-box foam mattresses. I guess they are all like Ecosa and send your an email after the purchase to play the trick of "claim $50 voucher if you give us 5 stars online". So that you can see tons of postive feedback from most of the customers..

    • I also find the corners a bit soft. Haven't change the firmness as I'm enjoying the default setting but the other thing I thought is that if it start to sag someday I could change the layer and maybe it would help to correct the sagging.
