[AMA] I Am an Australian Who Worked as a Tour Guide in Korea

Hi!

I've been here for 3 weeks!

As a former tour guide in Korea, I possess great familiarity with the country and its culture.

As a result of the pandemic, I lost my job and here I am back in Melbourne.

Feel free to ask me any questions about Korea :)

    • My number one regret is not having been to NK before :')

    • Isnt that Best Korea and not so best Korea

Is it true that North Koreans don't have a seoul?

    • +2

      Good one x'D

    • Only the leaders are ill.

  • I was planning to go on a trip to South Korea in March but cancelled due to Covid. Does South Korean normally wears mask in public like Japanese? and besides the usual tourist places which I can Google, any recommendations on where to go when visiting SK? I like sight seeing, good food and experience. No sporting, except walks by the beach and dinner.

People are fine with incessant uninsured accident posts but this gets bulk reports. Righto.

    1. What aspects of the country or culture tourists find amazing, surprising, interesting, repulsive in your experience? What could come as a culture shock?
    2. Any good tips on wooing Korean women?
