Galaxy note ultra 5g 256Gb for $349 upfront with $99pm plan
Galaxy note 20 4g $199 upfront with 99pm plan.

At JB Marion SA, have been here for over an hour, went through the whole process but computer was hella slow, at the very end they saw it was cancelled, called head office or whatever and said they can't honour it. Ended up going with the Note 20 5g
Mate you shouldnt have done that IMO.. Note 20 5G is way overpriced
Tbh they just got you in with false advertisement, bait and switch. You should hit them up for the real deal…

Yeah I tried, believe me, but yeah there I have no claim under consumer law - it would be if it was still online and advertised but it's not. There was no way they would do it, I tried to fight haha. In the end I've been waiting for a deal for ages and doubt there will be another one close to the price.
@JoyousLemon: There might be a cooling off period on the new contract. Do what's right for you though. If you're happy with the phone you got then don't worry about it.

It is not super bad price for Note20
totally agree. it's a 60hz display with exynos and 8gb ram. not to mention the plastic case…
it is really even below mid range spec phone..

Anyone capture the banner? In-store at the moment, they signed me on the $99pm but are now saying they can't do the phone.
Thats ridiculous … why they signed up for telstra then ?
We probably may see this offer in 6 months time…
In Perth, signed up to the plan and everything and they couldn't issue the gift card at the counter to let me pay for it. Then discovered it was a pricing error and wouldn't honor it. Had to stand around another 20 mins for them to reverse everything.
That's some seriously poor customer service.

Did not know, happened literally because they couldn't issue the $1650 discount. Also they only had one left with an open box so they were going to discount 10% off $349. That could've instigated everything to be honest.
That's good to hear then. You definitely did receive pretty poor service with them leaving you hanging for so long as a result of their error.
Had you known beforehand it would make your actions pretty close to theft.
