        It's listed under:

        Clothing, Shoes & Accessories›Men›Accessories›Eyewear & Accessories›Sunglasses

Going by that, it should come under 'Apparel, Shoes, Handbags & Accessories' category which is 8% cashback.

  • That’s pretty neato

  • I can't bring myself to buy these without testing them first. But obviously not possible at the moment, so wait I must.

    • They have them set up for testing,

    • I've had these for about 6 months and absolutely love them.

These frames sound good, BUT the battery is bad. It takes 3 hours to charge for 3 hours of use.

Don't buy those if you need prescription lenses . If you still want those, buying lenses from Glasses USA is the only choice. Most optical store in aus will say they won't be responsible if they accidentally damage your BYO frame. Don't make the mistake I did : Bupa optical chipped my frame :(

If you decided to get prescription lenses, don't cheap out, go for the ultra thin. I made a mistake of buying the least expensive option and it is very heavy. It just keep on siding off my nose.

The plastic accumulates a lot of skin oil, so if you have an oily nose, stay the heck away from this one.

TLDR: nice concept, shit battery, do not buy if your eyes are not 10/10 and if you have oily skin

  • Tested these in-store a while back. Sound is fine (I don't like it loud). My concerns are that the build quality is pretty average, especially for Bose. Most of the local JB stores had these on display. Sadly, most of the sunnies had not coped well with the punters. Broken arms and such. Feels flimsy to me. The battery is pretty poor and the charging cable is not great. Don't just take my word for it, check online reviews. But, be mindful of people who post links to the product. They are not going to tell you the full truth, since they get kickbacks from the links.

I've been using this for about 10 month now, I love wearing it, I even bought some extra lens for it, like the clear one, so I can wear it at my desk at work without looking like a prick. but here are my issues with it.

Battery's very bad on these bad boys,

and Bose doesn't even sell replacement charging cable, which you kind of need one at work and one at home.

I've tried buying unbranded charging cable from ebay, but they don't actually work, so sad face here.

I'm considering getting the Huawei X gentle Monster frame next, just because you can use the case as a charger.

    • Huawei X gentle Monster frame is very good but too pricy

      • I know, that's why I'm still considering, have to justify spending that much :P

the 2nd gen that was just announced looks sick

        • So they're earphones in the shape of sunglasses?

          What's the advantage of these?

          • @Telios: good question, I found with in ear earphones, they are unconformable after wearing them for more than a hour, and the big head phones are a pain to carry around, and too hot to wear in summer.

The glasses is cool, when I have to let my mate listen to what I'm listening to, I just have to pass him the glasses, if I was wearing in ear earphone, I wouldn't be able to do that, it's a bit gross.

did i mention I can wear that in meetings :P

            • @optusprime: So they're not smart glasses or anything like Google glass?

Why don't you just get Aftershokz or bone conduction earphones

              • +1

@Telios: fun factors, I guess, talking into your glasses, while taking calls, it's a fun toy.

Man those look terrible IMO. Guess i'm not fashionable. Bose ones look like a more 'universal' design.

50$ or not interested, didn't know plastic can exceed it's price at times.

  • Are they any good when cycling ?
