Would you guys really trust a monitor arriving safely being sent via a courier from England?

        • +1

Dunno, aren't most monitors made in China then shipped around the world via courier?

          • +1

@wozz: Shipped on pallets vs individual box being thrown around

Ordered a couple of PC parts from Amazon UK took 1 and a half weeks to ship and about 2-3 weeks to arrive. Anyone buying this monitor keep this in mind.

    Hmmm…. only 2K resolution on a 31.5" screen. Won't look very sharp.

  • Wow, that's actually really impressive. I didn't know USB C could do such bandwidths. Is it Thunderbolt? Or is it USB C on 1440p and 60hz?

    • i think its usb-c on 1440p but im not sure what refresh rate. actually not entirely sure though so im really just guessing. can anyone else speak to this?

  • Xiaomi better?

I have this monitor and I can't recommend it if you are going to use it for gaming. Even though it is 144hz (which works great in brighter scenes), there is some ghosting/motion blur very noticeable on darker scenes / elements on the screen. I'm not sure if it would bother most people, but for me it is a massive deal breaker.

Also HDR 400, might as well not advertise as HDR compatible, the colours are terrible.

Edit: Also, if you intend on use G-Sync with this, it can cause flickering as the monitor it is not 100% compatible.

Edit 2: The monitor it is 144hz, but Windows will only offers 120hz. You will need to create a custom profile with your gpu drivers for it to work at 144hz.

    • Good info for others, thanks.

HDR compliance is loose in many consumer level models it seems, not just this one.

    • thanks for sharing! good insight!
