    It sounds like you are purchasing from a category with 0% cashback? Eg groceries, video games, electronics, computing and quite a few others.

  Groupon won't refund your money if you have to cancel a deal and the customer service they provide is woeful…

    Agreed. Just had another issue from this purchase. Didn't even want a refund, just a different size to what I bought. Nope. No refunds.

    That's the last time I use Groupon.
