Looking to have a birthday cake delivered on the weekend (ideally on Sunday, but can be tomorrow)
Does anyone know any restaurants/cake shops that have not transitioned from in store to online that do cakes (I want to avoid generic shops if possible)?
I get my cakes from iCakeMelbourne delivered to St Kilda. Not sure if they go further into the bayside area.

There is one in Highett and one in Cheltenham, the Highett one has cakes according to a pic a friend sent. Do they count as generic?

Lol. I haven’t had a cake from there in many, many, years so not sure if they’ve changed or I have low standards, but one of the best cakes I’ve had was their chocolate mousse cake.
I probably have low standards.

Not sure what kind of cake you’re after but I love the strawberry watermelon cake from Black Star Pastry. They just opened in St Kilda and it says order before 3PM for pick up or delivery next day.
I first tried it at the night noodle market and when I was in Sydney last, I made sure to visit their store and get it.
Got one delivered a couple of weeks ago.

I hope the party is only with the family in toe. Maybe try calling up a few cake shops within your 5km zone. Order and cillect. Done. Can't think off hand any shops in particular. Church St. Martin St.
