    Is there a promo code needed? Or is the deal just for 2 of the Nikka not one Nikka and something else? When I add 1 Nikka and 1 Lagavulin 16 it's coming up as $193.74 which includes $6.89 delivery and doesn't seem to give free delivery or the $20 off for the over $150 spend.

    I can say that this is an excellent whisky! Yes it is $30 in Japan but you wouldn't bother buying this over there given the mark up on everything else is much higher so you would use your luggage space/alcohol allowance on much more expensive bottles

      Yep. We have ~4th highest tax rate on alcohol in the world, but most people don't realise. On spirits like whisky/rum/vodka/etc you're looking at about ~$30 per bottle pure tax.

    thanks also OP - just got my 2 bottles of the Nikka and the high balls thrown in too. Like MyUsernameNotTaken, wondering how best to drink a whisky packing 51.4% alcohol - obviously not all at once, but I'm contemplating adding a splash of water.

      Sometimes adding a little splash of water is the best way to bring out all the aromas in a cask strength whisky. Some professional blenders dilute the whisky down quite a lot before tasting. In my view the nikka doesn't really need it.. but its up to your individual palate. Give it a try and see what you prefer.
