Reusable Nespresso Compatible Pods (10 Pack) $12.95 +P&H @ Smooth Sales

30

Hi All,

We've got Reusable Coffee Capsules for Nespresso Machines available now.

It's a 10 pack at $12.95 - the same product does go online for varied pricing including $22.99 on another deals website.

I have personally used them and recommend a very fine grind. Definitely beats the majority of pod coffees available (though St Ali's is pretty good!).

We ship out within 1 day of ordering out of Melbourne using tracked Australia Post.

Flat Rate Metro Shipping (capital city and surrounds) at $6.95.

Have a great evening!

    How do these work?
As far as I know, normal pod is punctured by the machine on two sides, one to inject hot water and the other to let the brew out.

Will we need to align the holes? Won't the fine net get punctured?

Reusables already have holes in them and they are shorter so the part that suppose to puncture the official capsules don't reach.

I that said I come to realise reusable nespresso pods are OK if you already have a nespresso machine and want to have less waste.

If anyone thinking about getting a nespresso to save time and then only use reusable pods I recommend just going for a semi auto espresso machine like the Dedica. Youll end up wasting more time fiddling around refilling the pods when you can spend less time pulling a better tasting espresso.

  • Do you sell any for caffitaly machine ?

    • Unfortunately, No. Sorry!

not sure it's worth refilling and cleaning these? We have a nespresso using supermarket pods and an aeropress with aldi powder when we have the time to brew one.

More for people concerned about minimising waste u'know?

I think it's more so at this point you may as well get a semi-auto machine

      • then, why do you need 10

        • You pre-fill them, then use as you need.

This is ozbargain not oztightarse. If each of those took you 5 minutes (which it looks like), for 10 pods it would cost you $25 just in your time based on $30 per hour you could be earning. That's not even including the coffee. It's a no from me.

    • I've tried this and it's extremely fiddly. Takes like 5 minutes in actuality. Not worth it

    • I have 4 bluecup ones. They are obviously more fiddly than just popping a Nespresso pod but seriously it not that much work.

The only thing is that they are much more difficult to push the lever down with - so much so that I feel that the plastic inside the lever mechanism will eventually break. I also find that with all the after market pods I have tried. It could be my model of machine.

Looking at the pics on these, however, I can see why the bluecup ones are so much more expensive. These don't look like they will last very long with that plastic lid thing.

  • This looks very tedious.
