$90 off their price, and around $70 off the current price at most other retailers.

I've seen reviews using it as a cheese fridge, not sure if that's similar?
Buy a Vintec if you want a decent wine cabinet.
Type any model vintec into product review and then tell me how great they are…. They are not the only brand that can make a Chinese imported wine fridge. Hisense is massive compared to itsbrokentec.
Who on ozb needs a wine fridge and if a lot of people do, what am I missing out on ? I personally have never bought a bottle of wine more than 100 dollars, though admittedly not much of a wine drinker but whats with a wine fridge. A fridge by definition cools, I would have thought expensive wines need storage at a set temperature or so I thought which obviously is not correct if a wine fridge is a thing.Just curious if any wine lover can shed some light.
EDIT -Just read the description on the product page..5 degrees to 20 degrees is not a fridge its more a temperature controlled enclosure. If the manufacturers call that a fridge and if I have a 100 dollar plus bottle I am guessing this thing is not a bargain at any price
Might as well get a thermoelectric wine cooler instead of this. Cheaper and running costs cheaper too
I was curious so I hunted around and found Vintec's take on thermoelectric vs compressor https://www.vintec.com/en-au/expert-advice/buying-guide/wine…
Thermoelectric is more than fine for red wine (small collection - 8 to 30 bottles). Not for white or large amounts. I probably should have specified that. Probably got negged on that. Depending on the environment the wine fridge will be kept and the type of wine, then thermoelectric will be more than enough and cheaper to run in the long term. Your power costs will jump with a wine fridge. You can also get multizone theromoelectrics. I use a small one and find that sometimes we have to let it warm up a bit before drinking.

Tsk tsk tsk… uncultured you are…
Jokes, I dunno, looks kinda cool. Put your VB’s in there if that’s more your thing.
You don't have to spend loads to get decent wine and if you store red wine properly it'll taste much better after a few years, even cheap stuff. If you store any wine badly it'll taste much worse.
I agree.. Not sure why though my comment has been downvoted 4 times by wine lovers who dis agree :-d and will be buying this fridge and so no one who has commented on my post is being shown :-D. Well taste is an individual thing I suppose.
Different types of wine should be stored at certain temps. Red wine should be stored at around 12 degrees. Now where I live it's usually far hotter than that. My fridge is set to 3 degrees so it's too cold. If you like wine, it's a very simple purchase.
Got JB down to $386.00. I'm storing coffee beans in it.
Can stack with the 5% off code going around at the moment too 👀
I just wonder if anyone uses it for dry aging beef?
