is it me, or has there been nothing new on nexflix in a long while. Have been watching a lot of netflix in past 4 months.

I've watched plenty of new stuff on there, new stuff that has come out in the last couple of weeks. It could be that there isn't much new stuff matching your profile, therefore nothing much suggested to you.
It's cause you're watching everything or watched already because of all the free time we have had recently.
just don't see much new popping up. Or are they not making anything new due to covid 19 ?
Maybe you need to sign up for notifications - i seem to get them every few days with something that I assume is new (admittedly, I usually just swipe them away without really reading them).
Have you watched Dark, Ragnarok, The Dark Crystal, and Warrior Nun? They're bomb in my opinion.
Teenage Bountyhunters looks good.
Maybe look at some foreign language series as they often get overlooked.
Netflix spends +$10bn on original content per year + has licencing agreements with most studios. So there is plenty of content, both new and also stuff that you haven't seen.

Maybe, but the way the production works is that it gets filmed and then edited. So for example "Down to Earth with Zac Efron" was released (on Netflix) a few weeks ago, but filmed over 2018-19. The point I was trying to make was that there is a lot of content you won't have seen you just need to look for it.
