That's an awesome upgrade. The 510K has Cherry MX switches while the AW768 has the Kailh switches
agreed with the 510k..
one of the mechanical keyboard.
do bear in mind is a low profile..
so it does not make those clicky mechanical keyboard sound…
which great for those with wife/parther that sleepy early..
By the way, how many USB ports does the keyboard need? I've been looking for the answer online but can't find any information on it
it has 2 but only require one… the other one is for the RGB
Hmmmmm, that’s kind of annoying. My laptop has only three USB ports. Might have to stick to my AW768 then
Those RRP are a joke. Nearly $400 for this is laughable. You could have a nice high end topre or actual keyboard enthusiast-level brand for that.
That's why you only buy when they are "on sale", which is more reasonable price. Got that white one from Dell last year when this was on like 50% off discount.
Those RRP are a joke. Nearly $400 for this is laughable.
The RRP uses the 100% automatic and unconscious anchoring effect to change the perception of value. Far from being a joke it actually manipulates the viewers behavior from not losing money to losing money.
I have tried several times to stop this site from posting these anti-consumer devices.
A better thing would be the last best price or the current next best price - which makes the bargain appear to be not as good even though nothing has changed other than placing a number next to the price. Which is the anchoring effect at work.
I personally highly value a wrist rest for any keyboard, and this doesn't look like it has one.
This or the Razer Blackwidow Elite?
Asking the right questions. I have the ornata but keen to hop over to mech
Had the Ornata v1 before, keyboard felt great but keys were too heavy for my liking.
Had my hand on a AW510K a few weeks ago at local JB, I think the typing weren't bad, definitely on the quiet side of mechanical keyboards.
Though one thing I have to say, the keyboard isn't that good-looking (like in all these Youtube vids) at all when the lighting / RGB are off, black variant it was.
The keyboard wasn't plugged in so lighting was off and I didn't even realize that it's the AW510K until I got home and checked the photos I took (as I was kinda in a hurry).
why is the price changing by second? it is $216 now, no deal.
Price back to 216.37 now for the 510K.
the page detects clicks, as soon as bargainers flood in, the price goes up.
is that the case with every amazon deal? coz this happens a lot
I’m almost sure it’s based on units sold
I see. OZB.deal was only published 60 mins ago, so either many (out of the 36x clicks) have bought or that the deal has a low 'for sale' qty for that price.
I just got it at $169 aud, and it went up straight after it, i feel lucky
Price just went up to $223 for me…I literally was 30 seconds from checkout but had to answer a call…oh well.
Looks like Amazon jacked the price on the 510K
Interestingly the 310K has dropped by a few dollars
Razer Blackwidow Elite or this.
Which is one is better?
great keyboard (510k), i got courtesy replacement from Dell Ebay which they didn't have Aw768 in stock.
