Dell 32" Gaming Monitor - Good Value or Just Marketing?

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted your thoughts on this monitor and any other alternatives that you could suggest. I intend on using this monitor for both work (ServiceNow, RDP terminals, SCCM) and gaming.

The Dell 32 Curved Gaming Monitor: S3220DGF has a 1440 res for the screen size. Seems to tick the boxes for everything a gamer would need. What are your thoughts on this? I potentially can get this (6 month warranty, private seller) for $450, will that be a good buy?

    It has been just under $600 recently new with 3 years warranty:

    Personally wouldn't $450 for a ~2.5 years (given the 6 months warranty) old unit.

    Great screens, got one recently for around $660
