I was given a $10 voucher for logging in, adding a payment method and setting up auto renewal in front of the staff.
Valid for new and existing members according to the staff person.
Location: Marsden park. Potentially Seems to be nationwide.

Sorry OP what go you mean by logging in front of staff? Is this in store only or online? I'm nearing my renewal date.
In store as mentioned in the title.
They make you login to your account on your phone and add a payment method and opt to auto renew before handing out the $10 voucher
Is there anything preventing Costco members from switching off the auto renewal once they have collected their loyalty voucher?
If not, they could come back to the store on another day, or go to a different store, and repeat the steps again. Another instant $10 voucher!
Already tried.
It’s recorded on their system that a voucher has been handed out
It would have been simpler for them to just provide an eVoucher which can be scanned from the customer's phone.
I didn't renew and was sent an offer of "breakfast on us" if I renew before the end of the month. It included bacon, pancake mix and maple syrup, total value was $35+.
I got a cooler bag for auto renew. Have turned it off and awaiting next bonus.
Are they giving membership extensions for those in VIC that don't live 5kms from a Costco?
Just called Costco Ringwood Victoria,
the staff member said this….
Offer just started & going for a while
Go to the membership counter
Log into your costco account
Show staff member - you set up auto renew
Staff will give you voucher to use in store
Australia wide…. Happy shopping all
Offer just started & going for a while
Happy Sunday
@everyone If you ask nicely they might give you a $15 voucher. Not for fuel though. Can't even collect it till lockdown over, but no use by date on it. Try CS on line.
Thanks! I gave it a go and they said it's being reviewed by management on a case to case basis.
Hopefully they get back to me soon.
Saw it in Lidcombe too.
Before lockdown 2 deal at Costco Moorabbin VIC was
$10 voucher for turning auto renew on Costco.com.au
$10 voucher for referring anybody to sign up
$10 voucher for the referred upon signup
knew they used to give “cooler bags” earlier, got it instead of $10. It’s handy for grocery run nowadays.
All they want you to logon to costco.com.au and enable auto renew. Canceled auto renew after leaving counter
$10 voucher for referring anybody to sign up
$10 voucher for the referred upon signup
To understand it clearly, would both referrer and the person being referred need to be in store to get this benefit?
wasnt this posted a bit ago?
Yes, here. But that post was over a month ago, the Facebook post the deal links to has been deleted, and the deal has been expired. So, posting a new "duplicate" deal is allowed according to exception #1 of the Duplicates section of the Deal Posting Guidelines.
I've reported this deal to have it marked as 'Long Running'.
I was given the same voucher for just renewing
And a free roast chicken from memory
