Thought this deal was worth posting since its RRP is something like $469.95

Before someone says it, yes its listed as cheaper on amazon US but is not purchasable for delivery to Aus address. Also, reship companies have been price gouging so badly of late (at least in my experience).

  • What advantage does this have over something like the replay feature on Nvidia software?

    • +3

This is a capture card for recording/livestreaming from external sources that use HDMI (PS4, XBOX ONE, SWITCH, A 2nd pc etc) it is capable of doing 4k60fps (hence the name).

Nvidia software is purely for recording/clipping content on pc only. (As far as I'm aware)

  • +1

    Requirements
    OS. Windows 10 (64-bit)
CPU. 6th generation Intel Core i7 CPU (i7-6xxx) / AMD Ryzen 7 (or better)
GPU. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10xx (or better)
    Others. PCIe x4/x8/x16 slot

Difference between the 4K60 Pro vs MK.2:

    • The suggested retail price is less.
    • The card is smaller.
    • The retail box is smaller, and of a different design
    • It can use Low and High Profile brackets (included).
    • It can record in HDR.
    • It can tone-map HDR to SDR video on the device.
    • It offers multi-application access. For example, you can stream in OBS while recording in Elgato 4K Capture Utility.

    • Yep. They did a great job with the mk.2 :) which this is ( surprisingly)

    • No radeon support?

      • For the original 4k60 pro

        • Windows 10 (64-bit)
        • 6th generation Intel Core i7 CPU (i7-6xxx) or AMD Ryzen 7 (or better)
        • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10xx / AMD Radeon RX Vega (or better)
        • PCIe 2.0 or higher x4/x8/x16 slot

So I would assume that support carried over.

But if that doesn't answer enough for you, someone stated that it runs with their RX570

If you want to do 4k 60fps you need to download the 4k suite software rather than the Elgato capture HD (or whatever its called)

      • Isn't it just something you connect your display to? I think it does support Radeon.

  • +2

    It's now $358 + $11 postage

    • Thanks for advising.
Glad I got one when I did.
