    Couldn't finish it.

I find Shin Ramyun about right on the heat scale.

Volcano chicken, on the other hand… That shit is crazy hot.

        That bastard burns twice.

      • I've got a pack of that on my shelf I'm too afraid to try. I think I might leave the keyboard and go put it straight in the bin. :)

        • Nah don't waste it, if you like spicy food it's worth a try. I managed to get through it fine.

        • It's actually super delicious if you tone down the spice a bit. I've seen people make it cheesy and soupy by adding milk/cream and shredded cheese over the stove; otherwise, adding cream cheese is quite popular too. Personally, if I don't want a horrible next day, I eat an egg or toast to pad my stomach, add half the sauce packet (start small and work your up) and then eat it with greens on the side.

      • I see its so hot, the chicken is crying

this is actually quite weak compared to this Samyang branded ones.

I think i'll wait when these are on sale again at $3

it is possible to use less than the full packet of sauce powder

      • I'll have to do that to finish off the other packs.

Add a slice (or two) of cheese such as kraft singles before serving.

          • @uncompressed: Thinly slice some cabbage and add it in for the last minute or so.

Stir thru some left over brisket, roast lamb, other random meat for best results.

Definitely agree had to add extra ingredients to tone it down

i just tried the x3 chilli. wasn't too chilli.

    • I recommend cheese in it once you pour the water and mix through the powder

I use about a 3rd of the flavour packet and save the remainder to use with Vermicelli noodles, frozen dumplings and veggies in future lazy meals.

      • Agree - 1/3 to 1/2 is about my limit

      • I should have read the instructions.

        • Or comments in past Deals!

@INFIDEL: My bad. I rushed out to get it before reading all the comments.

            Lesson learnt, tongue burnt…

  • Eating these and using airpods, what could go wrong.

    • your airpods fell in the bowl? 🤣

  • I eat these with another teaspoon of 1,000 Scoville chilli powder. Dump in an egg and some veggies (just follow this guy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMAA8lFCNNc) Samyang hot chicken ramen is my limit, I eat the Samyang 2x hot chicken ramen when I forgot how much it made me cry the last time.

    • On the side note, those make up on his face though, I must be getting old…

  • Here's a tip….In a couple of cups of boiling water, add a teaspoon of Bone broth, then these Nongshim noodles (they're the best dried noodles as everyone knows).Don't add the sachets but add chopped vegetable like Shallots,Broccoli heads, sliced Carrots…even Green Beans.Don't overcook the Noodles and drink the soup as it's good for you!

And yet Woolworths keep selling so many…

Bought mine from Woolies. And I'm of Anglo-Celtic origins.

The point is you choose not to see, hear, think anything - that doesn't support your narrow minded mindset!

Please explain… who you think "Australian people" are? Bigoted people like you??

You realise you are using a site originally created by people from an Asian background. And used by many with that background. They are - Australian people.

Enjoy your stay in the Penalty Box 🚔 😂

    • Ah that explains it.
Am surprised you ate so much of these to affect you so much!!

Maybe cut back, the chilli high is not for everyone!

I only eat about a packet or 2 a month. My conservative Anglo culinary heritage of mainly bland food, is not used to too much chilli & heat 🌶🔥

I'd rather eat at good Asian restaurants.
      But I enjoy these, occasionally.

  • Korean grocery stores often have cheaper Deals.
Saw today HanaroMart in Brisbane (Garden City) have 2 x 5packs for $7.90.
