I'm looking to buy a electronic gadget - watch from this store which claims is based in Australia and they've even got a real address listed on their website. But just to be on the safe side, want to ask whether it can be trusted or not? i can't find any reviews from productreview.com or other sites.

Not to mention that most of their products are ones that are commonly faked. Some products no one bothers to make fakes for, but these Xaomi gadgets are a different story. If Amazon get let fakes slip through, I wouldn't trust getdget.com.au to make sure their stock is genuine. Also it might not even be in Australia, they probably just dropshipping from hong kong like ebay does anyway.

Also, even if it were a legit website, I refuse to support a business that does not list their ABN and is rife with grammatical errors.

So are they working from home and POD is where all their stock is kept. Suppose youll find out if its a scam if item doesnt come. Can't find any google reviews either. Is the item you are lookng for really cheap compared to legit stores.

Yo Getdget.com.au is actually a real store, I bought a wireless earphone off these guys
However, they take forever to ship it out, idk if its due to the current pandemic situation or not. I wouldnt personally deal with them again unless i find really cheap stuff
So I made an order on 7th of August and they made a label on 10th August, it was fine till then but they sent out the actual product on 19th and it took almost a couple of weeks to get where Im located in (Darwin, NT). I think it would of taken less if i was in down south.
anyways if you can wait for 2~4 weeks its good to go
any other experiences? they seem to have Mifo at half price and I'm not in a rush…

I placed an order on 6th Feb for AUD $240 of worth of Bestcon security bits and pieces. Followed up 8 working days after no correspondence or any shipping details, as was now suspect it was a scam website (delivery was meant to be 8-12 business days). Getdget replied few days later advising they were on Chinese new Years break and would ship it out that week and would be from the China warehouse, so much for stock being located in Sydney!
After another week of no updates, followed up again, response 2 days later saying will dispatch soon. Later that same day more correspondence, sorry we have made a mistake with the price, you need to pay us another USD$83! What a joke!
Now cancelled order and received Paypal refund. I wouldnt recommend using Getdget, at least I got my money back, just wasted my time.

Great to hear you got a refund.
It is pretty clear this site is a drop shipper from China. So not really a 'scam' website as people are receiving their items ordered or refunds as in your case.
It is also clear that the items are not local, but shipped directly from China etc. So things like China holidays/NY and delayed shipping times should be expected as part of the ordering.
All that said, they seem to deliver on what is sold. So that is something.
