  • Any idea how this is compared to Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard?

    https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B079DKJ8PH/ ?

    • I used Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard for more than 10 years now , it is aquality product but someone suggested me to try Rule 1 and I like it , it pure protien .

" We’ve completely omitted the use of whey concentrates as well as creamers, gums, amino spiking, and other fillers that dilute what you really came for – protein. The result is an industry leading Protein Purity Percentage (PPP) of up to 87%." From their website

They make it sound as though WPC is bad.

        • Creamers also help a lot with the flavour i believe.

          • @lonewolf: I would rather unflavoured WPC then your not stuck with the same flavour for months on end. Also this stuff still has additives where unflavoured WPC has nothing.
            2kg for $39.95 delivered.
            3kg for $55.50 delivered.

            • @Arthur Dunger: If you only want unflavoured you might be better of buying direct from the dairy companies. Last time I bought unflavoured wpc I bought it direct from fonterra. A 20kg sack. But I find wpc does give me some digestive issues and the unflavoured ones don’t mix that well and taste was a bit tricky too. I did finish it over time by mixing it in with flavoured whey protein products

    Never seen this brand…

    • It's one of the more premium brands.

    • Maybe too fancy for you to see? (J4f)

      • Yes, Arnold.

  • I tried the vanilla creme, it tasted good.. Easy to dissolve too, have been using spoon and cup to mix it.

This is without a doubt the best protein brand that I've ever tried (I'm lactose intolerant too)

This is exactly why I like it , its easy on my stomach and embarrassing moments

  • Received my order from Nutrition Warehouse for the Red Velvet flavour earlier today, also my first time trying R1. Flavour smells like Red Velvet cake and somewhat tastes like it too, but a tad too sweet. Would suggest this flavour to anyone who wants to try something else other than the usual flavours. First impressions - it's very good. Love how soluble it is. I put a scoop into 200ml of water and only 1-2 stirs were needed for it to perfectly mix. Shaker wasn't needed, which is a bonus at times as I get really lazy cleaning the shaker from time to time!

  • ta - got strawberry and creme

  • Chocolate peanut butter went back up in price.
