Overview
The Smart Oven™ Pro with Element iQ® is for the cook who desires a countertop oven that slow cooks tender casseroles, bakes the perfect pizza, toasts evenly and roasts succulent meat. The convection setting reduces cooking time by up to 30%.
Key Features
Smart Element IQ® System
There’s heat, and there’s smart heat. Element iQ transfers heat intelligently across 5 quartz elements for precise and stable heat just where and when you want it for perfect results, every time. Super fast 2400W preheat gets your meals on the table more quickly.
Convection Powered
You’re not a Pro without an inbuilt fan that circulates the hot air within your oven. Convection speeds the cooking process by raising hotter air and sinking colder, less dense air for quicker heating. But you knew that.
Slow Cook Function
Some days you want to take your time to tenderise and develop complex flavours. That’s why we have a slow cook function, designed for long cook times at low temperatures. You can slow cook for up to 10 hours before the setting automatically turns to keep warm. Your food’s ready when you say it’s ready.
10 Cooking Functions
10 cooking functions to guide you to perfection: Toast 6 slices, Crumpet, Bake, Roast, Grill, Pizza, Cookies, Reheat, Warm, Slow Cook.
Interior Oven Light
Integrated oven light automatically turns on when you open the door and at the end of the cooking cycle to help you see inside. Auto shut off and independently controlled button. Replacable componentry like your regular large oven.
LCD Display
LCD Display to more easily access the built in smart functionality, choose from 10 cooking functions. Integrated oven light automatically turns on at the end of cooking cycle or can be switched at the touch of a button.
They are different things. The Breville is not a Steam Cooker to begin with so depends what you want.
If steam cooker is something that interests you, go with Cusineart as it has both. if not, Breville is the way to go, It's fit for purpose i.e. Convection cooker with fan force and from what I have read is better at that compared to Cusineart.
I can only directly comment on the Breville (being using previous model for the last 10 years) and looked at comparisons since this post arrived. I decided to order a new Breville myself as current one which still works is getting weaker (Quartz Elements) from daily use as main oven. The fan crapped itself 2 years back but that's non essential. Steam oven is not a necessity so sticking to what works very well.
I am however also interested in hearing from anyone who has tried both.
