Pretty much all I'm looking for on a Lenovo:
• AMD Ryzen 4700U
• Vega 10
• 14" 250+ nits screen
• 16GB RAM
• 512GB NVMe SSD
The price is a killer though :\
Update: Now they have it.
Same price, though.

The pricing is about right, I found laptop with similar specs.

I'd actually have a look at it in person too, or youtube videos. Often dream spec'd laptops don't come in dream bodies. If I were spending 2k on a non Apple laptop I'd want it to feel pretty high quality. What good is $2,000 worth of components if they are in a fragile chassis or if the hinge will give up after a year.
I did. At JB. The chassis is pretty good. All metal, on par with the MacBooks. And, other than the screen, has much better components.

Trackpad looks fairly big in the video too.
Dell desperately needs to start a production run of Ryzen 4000 edition of their XPS series. You wouldn't even be looking at the inspiron 7000 line if they stuck Ryzen APU's into the XPS series.
There are a couple of possibilities here:
https://www.dell.com/en-au/outlet/catalogsearch/result/?q=ry…
One is a quad-core Ryzen 3700U, which doesn't even compare to the hexa- and octa-cores 4500U and 4700U, and the other is a G5 15 for $1269, which seems like a really good deal, though with only 8GB of RAM, and not sure if it's expandable, bc it's composed of two 4GB DIMMs.
But thanks for linking their outlet store.
Interesting, the AMD version of the Inspiron 2-in-1s doesn't seem to have made it onto Dell's AU site yet. It's not just that specific config, they don't seem to sell ANY Ryzen laptops through their own site….
