Weird. $17 delivery to Melbourne but free delivery to Adelaide?

Nice find, OP. Anyone know how this TV stacks as a viable gaming TV for the upcoming PS5 console?

    • Not good.

    • This TV only has HDMI 2.0, so won’t support 120Hz refresh rates. You need one with HDMI 2.1, which is seemingly only available on top end LG or Sony TVs.

  • $2511.75 @Samsung Education EPP

  • OP: it's not free delivery for all. Probably only NSW

    • It's quoting me free delivery for Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane and Adelaide.
Other capital cities are additional cost

  • These models are edge lit. Thinner panels but you do get light bleeding and blacks aren't as dark as backlit (or OLED). Still, good price though

    • Are there any good quality 75" QLED's that are full back lit?

      • It looks like the Hisense Q8 is a good bang-for-buck option with full array local dimming and decent brightness. Only possible downside is their software. I haven't got one personally (i'm looking at buying one soon) but i've seen a lot of positive opinions on it.

        • What software does it use? I'm in the market for buying one too. Looking at 85" model, doesn't have to be 4k either and we mostly have it on during the day.

          • @bhunter101: Vida I think. 1080p at 85" (also don't think it's exists) lols gotta have a good upscale chip in it and the best is still Sony in that regards or it looks shit and FTA is shocking

        • Thanks. Unfortunately thats $3499 at Appliances Online :( I'll put this on my watch list.

          • @Trishool: There are a few cheaper deals, but to be honest the Q8 is as cheap as you're going to get for now for anything near a decent HDR experience.

  • So 100HZ, good for sport this Tv or not?

You will know (the good from the bad) when you are calm, at peace. Passive. A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense, never for attack.

  • Yes appliance online is currently out of stock. It the cheapest I can find.

  • JB hifi price matched for me @ appliances online $2196

  • seems like the prices have gone back up on both sites
