    This title is incredibly misleading.

    • +3

You can say that again. Glad it's been changed.

    • Yeah sorry about that. Posted before my first cup of coffee in the morning - big mistake!

Damn, got me excited for a second

Why are the ebay deals so crap these days?

    • Covid, the walk in store shopping is dying and while online shopping is on the rise.

    • +2

I'm just glad the bots that would always upvote their deals seem to have died off.

Nothing stupider than seeing 100+ votes on a 3/5% off deal with a list of exclusions a mile long

Another reminder of Kogan case of confirmed misleading jack …

It still gives you some good deals during covid.
For instance, I have been looking for a nice deal on Deco M5 after I missed the last one. And this voucher can bring down its price to $243.5, which beats Amazon listing price $251. Here's the link: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TP-Link-Deco-M5-Whole-Home-Mesh-…

I always find difficulties in what are those eligible items?

  • +4

    eBay targeted is a joke

  • i got a $10 off $20 spend. Nice

  • Not targeted - potentially saved $1000 for not buying another toy.

  • So how do you know if your the lucky one and is there some sort of code?

    • Had this offer appear in 'My eBay', appears to be targeted as you are given a unique code.

I've got it! Of course, nothing in my watch list is included. Is there a way to search for eligible items?

    • 2 ways:
      1) Email notice
      2) goto "My Ebay" -> "My eBay Summary", it will be on top of your list as a tiny little bar just under "Watch List"

  • wow great I've been waiting for a good deal from ebay, oh hang on as usual it doesn't apply for anything I want 🙂

  • Probably the first half decent deal I've had eligible items for in over a year. I think I just got lucky though.

  • …so basically 10% off if you get targeted with this and manage to find something for exactly minimum spend amount….

    • *Upto 10%, buy more, save less until the next bracket. Cashes in on sellers putting stuff like $199.95

      • I just checked the list of items, and you can buy a $1 SD card adaptor to push the total price over the $200 limit.

Lots of USB cables too, one listing says "AU $1.99 to AU $5.99". Ethernet cables as well, "AU $2.49 to AU $9.95".

Not too hard to push the spend up to the next bracket.

      • …so you just need to find something that cost 5 cents with free shipping and you're all good?

  • Oh, it looks like I have one! …shame nothing is eligible….well, here's a free one for ya if you guys find anything eligible: TSS60JMHZVWWKQM

    • Think it's locked to account. My one expires today, but is different

      • Did you try my code though on any eligible items?

  • Wish I had one, gotta spend $800, so $100 would be fabs!

    edit: oops its $50..

  • I got a similar offer today, but it has an extra lower bracket, "Spend $60 - $99 and save $5"

    https://www.ebay.com.au/e/coupon-offers/tg-dom-spend-save-1-…

This offer doesn't have a specified expiry date, says "Offer Period. This offer is available for as long as you can see it advertised on ebay.com.au"

The email says "Russ, spend & save up to $100* Get more value as you shop. Spend $60+ to start saving on a great range. Ends NA"
