Pretty disappointed with 7-Eleven on this one, lots of people seem to be having trouble scanning the voucher (including myself). Most likely a feature of having to use your general card barcode rather than a specific barcode for the deal. Sorry to all who had trouble accessing the deal.

here in VIC the deal is $1, with 28days expiry.
But somehow they have changed the rules that these deals go in the 'my card' option, which means one bar code would cover all the deals you were offered, but you might think twice before sharing your offers to other people.
The other thing is they have made it incrediblyhard to lock on fuel prices on the new app….. From my experience with my Redmi 1 in 10 tries could go through. I guess to them the previous app wasn't of much a success.

Targeted for this but "wouldn't scan" - so that was awkward. Guy behind the counter tried both registers and didn't work.
Had exactly the same problem, the guy just let me take it anyway haha.
Same thing happened to me, Went into the store and got the solo and it didn't work, the guy didn't seem to know anything about this offer, I tried another local store and still didn't work, Have no clue why though
It's a new marketing strategy. Suck people in to the store with a useless offer, hope people get embarrassed at the counter with others waiting behind and just pay for it with their other purchase.

Same here. Well the barcode scanned and something registered on their system but it didn't deduct the cost off the transaction. The more senior looking guy there tried both counters too and couldn't get it to work but I think he just cancelled the transaction and gave it to me anyway.

it works on my 5s with ios 12.4.4 but not on my mi4 with android 6.01.

yeah probably not worth trying to force it just for a crappy app.
if you know someone with a newer phone/os that can run the app, login on their phone, do a screenshot of your barcode and logout. you only ever need the barcode to obtain any deal in the app when someone posts it here.
Went to 3 7eleven stores in my area. They scanned my card and it got declined each time.

Just a note you can still grab this today in NSW. I just picked up minem I accidently grabbed a normal 600ml Solo & my usual 7/11 guy was nice enough to tell me that that wasn't the free one, only the Zero Sugar varieties were. He knew what I was doing 😂 Legend!

weird, the picture illustrated in the deal on the app was definitely the regular Solo bottle, not the zero one.

Oh god, I got the Solo "Zero Sugar" and it tastes like I'm drinking lemonade with a hint of zinc (thanks to the artificial sweeteners).
