  • Nice, only $7.20 postage for SYdney Metro.

  • seems like a nice price :) if it's real lol
    anyone shopped from there before?

  • As i guess i would think they are overseas versions e.g similar to what play-asia sell… if im wrong then sounds like great price

  • to skip the shipping fee could you hit up EB for a price match?

    • My local EB only price match within the same suburb, so I highly doubt EB would price match. Of course it depends on the store but unlikely to happen.

  • i bought from them so many times, and if you are afraid to make payment use paypal .They also have the trusmark paymate logo so so far so good. ebgames.com.au can not be viewed

  • thats the standard price for a US game.. brand new games are always $60 US new, nothing special here.. they are just selling you an import

    • where you get from us? please let me know so that i can get new game from them as well. my budget is just around $59
      please help monkycheese

      • a good import website is www.estarland.com VERY cheap! cheaper than play-asia

        • very expensive, not recommended. Thanks anyway

  • I got it from play-asia for a similar price [well $10 less as I had a $10 voucher]

  • if it's an import doesn't that mean you won't be able to play Metal Gear Online since it's region fixed?

  • my one is region free that i bought from them. and i also did not play online, maybe some time later , so far so good

  • Nope, all ps3 games are region free, all region free games can be played from any console, anywhere in the world online [as long as you have a good net connection]

The only difference is the DLC [DownLoadable Content] won't work from your respective PSN, you will have to log into the PSN from another country ie if your game is the asian version from play-asia you will have to log into the PSN from Hong Kong to get the DLC, this is easily done and if the DLC isn't free your credit card will still work with the Hong Kong PSN. This doesn't work with the US PSN though, our credit cards are useless there.

    • WRONG!! while any game will play, some games the online mulitplayer is region locked, meaning if you have a US disk, you can only play with americans THIS GAME BEING ONE OF THEM!!!! you couldnt ply with your aussie friends online.

  • no that is wrong, I play with US games online daily against players from all over the world [aussies included]

    • you obviously arnt reading what ive written -____-

SOME games are online region locked!! THIS IS ONE OF THEM!!!!

      Proof: http://www.gamer.tm/news.php?id=2549

COD4 was the same till they updated it, also i think UT3 also has an online region lock.

Trust me man i know what im talking about, next time use google an read before you type.

      • yeah that's why i asked.
so if you import a US game will it only let you play with US players?
or is it, as i have heard somewhere, that it's locked out completely as the Aussie PS3 and US Metal Gear don't mix?
has anyone actually confirmed this for themselves?

  • I have never played a game that is region locked online yet, i have 13 imports so far, i play with my friends from all over the world

On the other hand many of my friends import their games as well from p-a so that may be why, apologies for misleading the OP then
