Am I the only one thinking it weird that one of those pic has an imac and a pc tower together?

    • +2

      I feel lied to.

    • Its a wireless PC tower too.

..i got one of this table, its very fragile..

..not a good buy at all..

    • +2

Not a good buy but does it bang good?

      • +3

If you bang, you can kiss it for good - Just look at those legs holding the table!

        • +2

          They're skinny.

    • Do you think this may be a better buy:

Or go the full Ikea experience?

fragile as in unstable or fragile as in easy to break and can't actually hold too much weight?

  • Hi OP. Question. Is it possible to change the shelving to go on the other end of the desk?

    • +1

      just rotate it 180 degrees

      • You can rotate the table 180 degrees for the shelves to face the other way, true, however you will not be able to use the support beams connected as an X at the back of the desk unless you drill screw holes yourself.
It is a flimsy desk with or without those support beams. If you're a person that fidgets, I wouldn't recommend it since your movements would rock the entire desk itself.

  • Anyone got a recommendation on an "ozbargain approved" computer desk? One that can ideally support monitor screen mount.

  • Ive had this desk for approx 3 months now. Shipping was fast 1-2 weeks. Had some issues with its construction as some some holes weren't completely drilled and i had to go at it with an electric drill. I have the north bayou dual monitors set up and it supports them fine, doesnt tip or anything. Highly doubt it would survive a move though. I would say its worth the price for a cheap desk.

Desk depth is 38cm… might work if the monitor is wall mounted.

    • 38cms? bloody heck, ive got a 60cm desk and i have my monitors on monitor arms back so they are in line with the back of the desk and this is pretty ideal - any closer and it would annoy me. I suppose if you were just using a laptop or 1 screen all the way back you could make it work with this.

      • I agree - 38cm desk depth is quite limiting and frankly next to impossible for monitors on desk stand. It's probably more for students or those who work off their laptops.

    • are you sure it's not 38 inches? 38cm is barely longer than a ruler

  • +3

Strong enough to hold an iPad and 2 pens

  • I bought one before. It is really small.

      Thanks Grace, great name.

    • Looks like theres a 90cm one and a 120cm one. 120cm one is a bit more and only available in brown.

I have this and it’s absolutely rubbish. Really flimsy to the extent that it wobbles just from normal typing. Not even worth this price.

Save yourself the headache and put the money towards something else.

  • My daughter has this and it’s wobbly. The whole thing is “held” together by those cross braces.

So once you plonk it down somewhere don’t try to move it.

And the same can be said for most flat packed furniture…

I also have this. Got it after a past deal was posted. Delivery was very slow and the product is very flimsy. Save your money and look elsewhere.
