they are the same company of the hut, pretty poor customer service but cheap though bought pre Christmas gift Merlin season 1-3 and sabrina 1-7 for GP93 = $142 inc delivery and gift order. used my paypal account and saved on cc fee though I used it.

  I placed an order y'day and it works fine. Obviously out of my order of Batman, BF3, and COD MW3, only Batman had the 10% discount applied.

  word of warning… DVD's from the UK won't work over here unless you have a region free player… so best bet is to only buy Bluray's and Games

    Most people already have region free DVD players - even if they're unaware of it (like Sony/Pioneer = except for PS3s of course)

  No VAT deduction - no service - deliveries regularly take upto a month - need to check for retrospective credit card alterations because of regular order cancellations affecting set money discount codes - in stock now resembles cd wow ordering - sometime never delivery.

  All in all well shonky in last 6 months. Good luck with Zavvi/Hut orders.

    VAT rate is 17.5% AFAIK.

    Shipping is £1.29 from memory.

    I just pre-ordered Uncharted 3 from them for like 50 bucks yesterday. Absolute bargain.

      It's gone up to 20%.

      So to work out the ex-VAT price, simply divide the price by 1.2 (don't multiply by 0.8).

  Guess it's luck of the draw… Last three orders i've had with Zavvi have shipped within a day or two, arrived within a fortnight, unblemished, charged correctly, the packaging fine (actually one box was slightly open at one side, but goods inside were unaffected and box was solid enough shouldn't have been open; suspect that was dodgy postal handling somewhere in transit).

  Agree not taking off VAT is a little disappointing. Mind, i only order goods from them that are either substantially cheaper than competitors even without VAT removal or which are below the 18 pounds anyway.

    Mine one got shipped with 24 hrs but sadly in three order than one, but i dont care only .99 GBP delivery for complete order. So not bad in my opinion
