Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 5700 XT 8G $649 + Delivery or C&C @ Scorptec

290

Cheapest local stock I've seen of this card. I'd recommend the ASUS TUF EVO X3 for $610-630 over this as it's actually better unless you need something shorter and not as fat.

Also comes with a copy of Godfall and World of Warcraft Shadowlands.

Woah in 15 minutes it just went from in stock to totally out of stock :|

Go to sleep dude. The night is no longer young and the tech deals can wait

Hmm. This is either hypocrisy or I'm going to be shot with "I work a night shift." I am going to sleep :)

Bargains cannot wait. We must be relentless in our pursuit of them.

  • Isnt this that wonderboy card with the stupid low temps?

Did the refreshed asus beat it?

    • Might be the Nitro+?

I was able to sell my ASUS TUF 5700XT at $600 and bought this yesterday.

Managed to overclock it while massively undervolt it. Temps are really low with fans spinning at half at what the ASUS. It doesn't come close.

Feels $40-50 is well justified compared to ASUS or the Asrock card

      • EVO or non EVO card?

        • I'd say non-EVO. HUB benchmarked both and the TUF was better across the board.

        • Mine was EVO. It wasn't bad by any means. However still can't beat the Pulse IMO when I have to choose a winner.

Might be a case of silicon lottery that I can get the Pulse at a high clock with low voltage (2150 Mhz at 1.05v). To hit that clock, the ASUS was at a slightly higher voltage, and the temp was ~5c higher than the Sapphire's but the fans was spinning super loud.

I realise the ASUS is ~$40 cheaper right now so it's not bad value if you don't mind it. It practically doesn't affect normal performance other than benchmarking.

EDIT : With Scorptec, this deal qualifies for AMD Rewards which is 2 free games: Godfall and the new World of Warcraft. Not sure if you value those but that can be sold too which is what I'm planning to do.

      • Did you run into any driver issues?

        • I have zero with my crap tier 5700 MECH OC.

        • No for both. I think AMD has sort out the driver issue since earlier this year.

    • local stock

      • how is local stock so much better?

        • warranty wise I guess but you can't really go wrong with Amazon tbh, be your own judge to decide if the savings are worth or not :)

        • +2

Personally I couldn't care less but there's some people who want it ASAP.

          • @Void: Been consistently getting Amazon US deliveries within 6 days (Weekends Included), they've been real fast lately.

            • @dbmitch: That's pretty good. Been planning on buying some Noctua fans for my GPU from the US and I could save a buck. This isn't the expedited option?

              • @Void: just bog standard. if you have Prime it just saves you a day and the shipping cost.

But for example, If I order Wednesday this week, it shows up Tuesday - Thursday Next week. This of course is the from Amazon US, Furfilled by Amazon default option.

    • Just checked, $599 on Amazon AU, but from doggy seller. I prefer not touching that seller. Waiting for a real bargain.

      • Ships from and sold by yanchengshijiaotongtouzijituanyouxiangrtrdrnt. seems legit haha

  • shows in stock for me.

    Back in stock?

Back in stock again, for both delivery and pickup

  • I stupidly bought the MSI Evoke version (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/559350) @ Centre com but have realised that it doesn't come with the coupon code for the free games!

So annoyed but not much I can do, if anyone is buying and doesn't plan to use the games I'd love that coupon!

    • I'd give you my 3 months Xbox Game Pass which I didn't use but it expired :(

The promo is run by AMD so you could ask Centrecom if they don't provide one.

      • Thanks anyway Rajeh!

I've sent a support ticket through to Centrecom to see if they can do anything, dont have my hopes up though as im sure if they had the coupons they would advertise it.

        • Centrecom came through with the goods, thier marketing team provided me the coupon within 24 hours of me raising a support ticket.
