power board 4 slots

Im looking for a power board for 4 slots… I want something reliable and safe

can anyone recommend any good ones for me ?

an arlec one will do

and ones that are spaced out. some chargers/plugs can be fairly wide preventing you from using adjacent plugs.

if you want go over board (no pun) get one with RCD.

whats the application? TV etc or just general use?

just general use… my one arlec one began to heat up and had a yellow stain where the heat was emitting… i was worried it will burn up soon

Cheap ones from Bunnings or Kmart = $3 to $4

Almost all brands will overheat if you plug heaters into them - they say 10 Amps, but in reality they aren't designed to continuously handle that.

They all have the same safety… since it's illegal to sell non-approved ones, and they all are designed to meet the same Australian safety standards.

I find the boards with usb really handy for charging phones etc . If you want cheap Bunnings had a 3 or 4 pack of 4 way power boards for about $10 last time I was in there .
