  group buys and coupons weren't mentioned because they'll all been given X number of months to "get their house in order" (qv. Shakespeare)

  I'd like to award Choice Magazine a Shonky for their own home mortgage group buy effort (I think it was called the "BIG SWITCH"). People signed onto the Choice site, and Choice Magazine would have received kickbacks for referring people (providing leads) to mortgage brokers. Of course, this was not disclosed to their loyal subscribers. What a joke.

  I totally agree with janeymac's comments. I'm quite heavily involved in the internet space and actually wrote a whole blog post on this point: http://aliagroup.com.au/marketing/choice_shonky_award/
  They should definitely either be much, much clearer with their disclosure or get OUT of the space. Shonky behaviour from a group that has built an incredible brand on being trustworthy.
