Opening iMovie projects in Windows

Is that possible? Looked everywhere, and couldn't find a solution.

My MBA died, and as I muse over migrating back to Windows, to acquire the horsepower I want and need, I worry about the unfinished iMovie projects I have on the Mac.

Buy a new Mac from Apple, export all your projects into MP4, and refund the Mac within two weeks if you decide a Mac isn't for you anymore. The new Air with the quad core processor upgrade is meant to be quite a computer. And probably one of the last Intel Airs you will be able to buy.

    • If only your powers could be harnessed for good rather than evil. lol

    • This. Apple has a 14-day, no questions asked return policy (even if the product has been opened and used)

  • Get someone with a Mac to do the export for you….

No native windows application that will open iMovie files that i'm aware of.

    Options:
    1 - get access to a mac (buy,borrow,etc)

2 - Virtual Machine macOS inside windows (avoid if relatively IT novice)
google: VMWare macos on windows for more info
