So my boss has asked me to run an online training course for TDD intro and asked me to talk to a trainer and set the price. I haven't done this before.
Any trainers in the house who could help me with setting a price and if trainer and company split profit how does it work?
How much profit margin is required? how much to break even? What are the costs involved I want to know if there is a method to calculate all this?

Why is the trainer's profit margin any of your concern? You:
- determine the number of attendees
- ask your boss what your budget is.
- contact 3-4 trainers and get a quote from each of them
- see which one fits the budget
- enjoy the junket
- forget your training in a month and go back to writing garbage code
This is not for employees:) so need to think about profit. I work for a consulting company
