Outlook Migration Help

So following on from yesterdays thread about a new Ryzen build I'm hoping someone knows a quick and easy way to transfer an Outlook profile to a new PC. This person has about 10 or so email accounts as a mixture of POP and IMAP accounts, multiple folders and emails. Is there a way to move the whole setup to a new computer? With Thunderbird I can just use mozbackup and the whole show can be moved or saved in one easy file but I've never found a simple way to do the same with outlook, I'm guessing it has to be doable cos a lot of people use Outlook.

    Could export to pst file, save it somewhere, and then import

      Would that work for all their email accounts and folders etc in one hit or would I need to do that for each account?

        well, when you do it, it asks you what folders do you want to export

    Haven't tried it myself, but you could give this a go:

    You would need to copy all the pop pst files across ready to point each account to the data file.
    IMAP is easy, it will just recache the data for you

      Thanks I'll check into it. Yeah it's the POP accounts I'm more concerned about.

      Just another thought, I'm wondering if I converted the POP accounts to IMAP ones would I then lose all the data currently in the POP account folders? (if you know what I mean?)
