Patriot Signature Series 8GB Vs Crucial 8GB for Laptop Upgrade. Help with Brands / Costs

Hey everyone,

I have purchased a Dell Inspiron 15 7591 i5 with 8GB ram. I wish to upgrade this to 16GB. It has 1x8GB (DDR4-2666 SODIMM) and 1 spare slot. I have found 2 options for ram on amazon with pretty big price differences. I know the brand crucial, but have never heard of patriot except some post on ozb. Reviews for both are good. Should I spend the extra for Crucial or give partriot a go?

    If you are adding to the existing one then you want to try to get one with the same CL. Apart from that just get the cheapest. Patriot are fine, a well known brand.
