For American Express Cards issued by American Express Australia Limited, the $50 Rebate will be credited to your registered Card Account as a statement credit. Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks from the end of the promotion period for the $50 Rebate to be credited to your account.
Maybe wait a bit longer and see. It's been less than 4 weeks since the promotion ended, I think.

Not yet on this one. I did not get anything on the last electrical offer. As mine is a bank issued card, I can't do anything about it as my bank did not promote that offer.
On another note (someone had asked on the forum previously) my Bunnings vouchers on Yellowpages offer arrived yesterday.
I just checked my AMEX account online, and realise I have received the $50 rebate for this promotion on 23/10/11.
Even better, they also give the rebate for the additional card (same account), so got $100 rebate in total.
Mine is the card issued by Amex, not the bank.

Not for me AGAIN, even though was giving them more time (dunno why after the last debacle). When did u make your purchases, one transaction or multiple transactions. I cannot workout their credit procedures.
I paid $250.00 for my Telstra account on 26/8/11
And for the additional card, we bought giftcard from Big W (along with other purchases) total $261 on 11/9/11Both credits received on the same day (23/10/11).

The people that made one transaction are getting theirs before the ones that made multiple transactions. 2 Westpac issued AmexI have an NAB card. I was following this up after having not received anything up until Monday 14-Nov. After speaking with an Amex rep, they provided me with the following instructions:
Send an email to [email protected]
Provide the last 5 digits of your card number.
Provide first name and surname.
Tell Amex it is NAB(or whatever your card is) linked.Luckily, my postal order arrived in the meantime on Tue 15-Nov before I had 'got' these instructions, but for anyone wanting to know the escalation procedure - there it is.

I called the 02 9271 8664 amex emergency line and explain the case to the operator. they said this will be credit $50 and solved in 14 business days
I'd hardly call this matter an emergency. I posted the appropriate contact number earlier in this thread. That's the number to call to get your answers straight from the horse's mouth.
unity1 - will never take this case as emergency! but nonetheless this is the number I got on amex is on my card. so give it a crack and they are quite happy to help. it's matter of how long to wait.
call the lady today, she said it was sent out since last week and it might take 10 working days. i will wait until next week, if nothing i call her again next week

I recently received an email saying that I had also qualified for some gift card promo that I learned about on OzB. I think that was $40 westfield or similar.
i haven't got mine yet i'm with CBA …i tried the 02 number above but just voicemail so called AMEX, who told me to call CBA, who then told me to call AMEX, who transferred back me to CBA who transferred me from general to cards to awards within CBA :S
…then i asked CBA to transfer me back to AMEX and for them to talk to AMEX about the promotion then finally CBA said they will send an email to their admin team …so hopefully it has been resolved :S
…if it helps the AMEX promotions line is 1300 363 276, i think only way to get somewhere with CBA is to manage to get AMEX and CBA to talk to each other with you on hold waiting :/

Might be your statement. My last one came in the mail saying that they could not send it via my email address. I don't even get all the SMS alerts anymore. Seems they have some gremlins in their systems.
Yeh I agree, there are gremlins with their systems at present, not discounting them paying up on their cashbacks. I chucked my statement in the bin, so it may have come with that. I pay online from the member services, dont rely on paper…

Yes it seems they have some gremlins in their systems.
i got 2 campaign credits in my amex account but two supplementary amex issued cards from the same account were missing so i emailed and called them. they told me it was a mistake in my favour of $50 and that only one $50 credit should have been paid per primary account according to the promo terms. now i log in and see a reversal of $50 on my amex account. i wasn't very happy with this outcome. so i have emailed them my complaint about the two above issues. got a phone call just now saying that I will be get the missing $150 credited to my account, as the marketing campaign terms and conditions were open to different interpretations. overall im pretty happy with amex and how they resolve disputes.

I still haven't got mine $50 cash back from the last promo; so I didn't use the $30 promo; and I probably won't use the $100 promo (registration successfully).
I've called them a couple of weeks ago, they checked and they said the money should be in my account in 5 working days. I checked the account after that still no money. So I logged a progress query online and still haven't got it sorted.
coolsteps - who did you email and who did you call for help? how did they help you for the re-credit? we never get a response from them with this email

leehungfei if you have a amex issued card its simple. just log in and click on email us chose complaint as the subject. Yes i got the missing $150 credited to my account. If you dont have a amex issued card you can email [email protected] with a copy of the amex email proving you had successfully registered for the promo. but i think they are overwhelmed so just be patient you should get a money order in the mail within 2 weeks if not resend that email to them again requesting a response and your contact tel number. They are pretty good paying up if you have proof that you qualified and followed the terms and conditions of the promo.
also maybe to coolsteps - they have verbally mentioned they will credit you the cashback. but if this is really happening.

I spoken to them once on the phone a guy mention everything seems fine on your purchase and register. the credit is going to get into my account but it never happened. I call on 11th november.
Hmmm, keeps dragging on. Get the odd email saying, give it 7 days, give it 3 days etc etc, still nothing arrives. Why do I get sucked in these deals? Only good thing is I generally buy from these stores anyway, not like I make special purchases just to qualify.

Received my $50 today, letter dated 01Dec2011, WPAC Platinum.
Have never had any issues with receiving the cashbacks.
With the $30 Westfield offer, they actually emailed you when you qualified letting you know. Thats a good way of doing it.
I got the confirmation that I qualified for the Westfield offer with my bank issued card but not with my amex issued card. I purchased an acer iconia for 395 towards the end of October from the GG so that should be a qualifying transaction.
Nice, I got the EOS1100D for $398, otherwise would not have qualified for the Westfield voucher. Need to give it to relatives though, can't use it in Tassie! Interesting that your Amex card didn't get the email.
It would be nice if there was a bit more communication, with an email saying you have entered, email saying you have qualified, and email when to expect the cashback etc. Although, I did get an email saying I have not yet qualifed, about a week before the end of Nov, which is good as well :)
Finally, I got mine after a telephone enquiry and two online follow-up.
I have yet to receive my rebate yet. Hmm
American Express has contacted me asking for some of their employee names and phone number removed from public forum, as it appears those employees not only need to handle cashback issues, many here are also calling them with other enquiries.
Those comments containing contact details are removed (as well as their replies). Please contact American Express directly.
this is really disappointing and laid they do that. i think they might be trying to dodge customer from the credit we suppose to get.
i just call the 1300 132 639 the mainline. the lady i spoken to hardly know anything and just transfer me around. until an operator understand what i talking about.
but it is not been follow up yet. he will get back to me after talking to department.
i hope this is all going good… their solution is so inconsistent.
the remove their own contact detail from this open discussion forum is never be a good move from amexnetwork. this is rather trying to ignore frustrated customer who are suppose to get their credit $50 but did not happen.
