Lexar 32GB MicroSDHC Card with Reader, Class 10 $55.99 Shipped

300

Thought this was a good price on a Class 10 32GB microSDHC with good brand and not from ebay. Picture shows Class 10 but not in description.

Um, your link, its Class 4 and Shopping Square

      • yeah, they have only sold 2,302 of them so their bad reputation must have cut sales drastically.

      • I seriously doubt that this is class 10 for the price, they probably just found a stock image and used it. I'd love for you to prove me wrong with a h2testw benchmark though.

Would you like to elaborate on the downsides of buying the above item from ShoppingSquare or are you just regurgitating the general negativity towards them?

      • Never mind, just saw laser's comment below. This is a very good deal if you need class 10 then.

Nothing wrong with eBay, although the comparison isn't fair, cuz Lexar >> Sandisk performance wise, and the cheapest Lexar 32GB card is $69.21 on eBay

  • That's a good price if it is a class 10 card. I have my doubts though.

It is a class 10 card

      • Proof please.

        • What's your opinion of the card? Is it noticeably faster than a lower class card?

  • judging from google search on the sku, its a class10

    • Yes. The picture attached shows its class 10 too. Just to be safe. I've saved a screenshot of the website in case they somehow try to weasel out of it. Pay via paypal and worse come to worse lodge a dispute.

    • The SKU they quote isn't listed on Lexar.com though. There's something similar… LSDMI32GBSBNAR, which is a class 10 card. Not sure if they are the same though.

  • not improbable of a price. http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/47724 was aud69 last time.

    • Thanks for that - saved me looking ;-)

  • Nice, good find! I paid $90 for this 6 months ago and was going good till I lost it. Just bought a replacement =)

  • I wonder how long these things can actuallu last, especially at that write speed…

    • A long time? Class 10 cards aren't like overclocked processors. Faster speeds do not mean faster wear and tear.

    • The class also indicates the minimum speeds the card has to attain. A class 6 card may very well be able to pull the same performance, although it won't be guaranteed by the manufacturer.

  • I've sent them an email to confirm what class this card is. Will post when I hear back from them.

  • Just bought one. It seems like a good price.

These are $149 from Lexar website… Bargain from ozgameshop.com

  • Have been using this card since June. Fast card for sequential reads and writes. Random 4k writes are typical of class 10 cards, a bit low. Still works fine for 1080p video recording on a mobile phone.

  • Out of stock :(

    • Back in stock, just bought one :)

  • Is it worth the extra $10 - $30 (depending on brand and class for a 32Gb) or so to have a class 10? Does it make that much difference if taking photos/video on a mobile, or transferring them via bluetooth/usb/wireless?

    • Probably not. Class 4 gives read and write speeds of 4MB/s. Class 10 is read and write speeds of 10MB/s. Should be adequate for a mobile device.

      • True. It should be adequate for most forms of usage. However, if you do own a 1080p capable device. You would be better off with a minimum of class 6 card. Also, one thing to note is that filling up a 32gb class 4 would take much longer than say filling up a class 10. Once again depends on your need. If your primary need is store music for a one-time-off event then you shouldn't need to get a class 10. UNLESS ITS CHEAP LIKE THIS POST. Sandisk class 4 costs 50ish.

  • Link doesn't work anymore! Guess I missed out!

  • just realized ozgameshop isnt an australian store.
    they deliver from UK.
    they sure tricked me =(

  • I ordered on 25/10 and I still have not received my order. When I checked, my order's status is OUT OF STOCK?!? WT…. when I purchased, it was not marked Out of Stock.

And I wasn't even informed that delivery would be delayed because of this development.

Anyone else on the same boat?

    • Mine still says being picked. I emailed them and they expect stock to come in on the 9th.

    • I'm awaiting for stock as well.

    • Good luck to anyone who hasn't received theirs. I got this email from Katherine on Saturday.

      Hi …..
