  • that is a damn good price!

  • +1

excellent price for a gt30 series neo PDP. IIRC that's just one step down from the top of the line vt30.

also, stick 3d in title coz that's what this bad boy is!

  • 132W consumption, really? compared to ~400W from my 3 yr old 46PZ800A, has the consumption of plasma came down that much?

    • The Neo Plasma is more efficient, having said that a standard plasma when calibrated for brightness will use abround only half of its rated power.

    • As chyawala hints, you're comparing peak power usage with "Normal (Home) Mode" power usage. If you go with "Rated Power Consumption: 2.1A" then it's peak is 462-504W.

Your TV probably uses under 200W under normal operation too.

  • Is Kogan much better deal than this?

    • +1

Not sure which deal you're refering to but I'd pick Panasonic over Kogan any day of the week. Different class of TV IMHO. Can't remember if Kogan uses Samsung or LG panels but for me panasonic is the go.

However thats me. What suits you best may vary.

      • Don't buy cheap brand to save a bit, TV is not just only about the panel. They keep saying their panel is from whatever big brands but what about other parts?
